The Apstrata Account
Before you can get started on Apstrata, you need to have an Apstrata account. An account is identified by an authentication key and a secret. Once you have an account, you can invoke any of our APIs by signing them with your authentication key and secret. In order to open an Apstrata account, you need to register on the Apstrata's website http://www.apstrata.com. This will automatically create an account for you. You can get the authentication key and secret of the created account by logging into the Apstrata website with the username and password used in the registration process.
After creating an account, you can begin exploring the Apstrata API using the developer workbench. Once you get familiar with the API, you can go ahead and build the application you desire while using the identity, persistence, messaging, and orchestration services of Apstrata.
Apstrata differentiates owners and users as follows:
- An owner is the Apstrata customer (i.e., the one that registers to develop applications with the Apstrata database service).
- An Apstrata user, on the other hand, is created by the owner and is the one using the application built on top of the Apstrata service.
